The highlight is the largest Monterey Pine in Oregon, which has been designated a Heritage Tree. There are also seasonal blooms between the spring and fall whose spectacular colors turn the Gardens into a veritable painter's palette.

    • What seasonal flowers will I see at the Botanical Gardens and when?

      Hundreds of daffodils and other spring bulbs make their appearance in late February and early March. In April and May, you’ll be treated to a wealth of azaleas and rhododendrons. Thousands of flowering annuals arrive between June and September, including 800 rose bushes. A bundle of dahlias can be seen from August through October.

    • Are pets allowed in Shore Acres State Parks?

      Sadly, no. If you’ve brought your pet along with you, they’ll have to remain in your guestroom or suite at Quality Inn & Suites. There is only one exception to this rule and that is for service animals.
